Showing up is what immigrants, undocumented and documented, do.
Against obvious risks and palpable fear, we show up to work, to school, to church, to our communities, in big cities and rural towns. We show up and we participate.
Immigration, at its core, is about families and love–the sacrifices of our families, and the love that we feel for a country we consider our home yet labels us as aliens. Immigrants show up for America, just as they have for centuries as we created a great nation. We show up for our families. We show up for each other.
Now, we need you and all Americans to show up for us. Join us.
